Tuff

Terms of service

Updated 25 October 2026

Who we are

Tuff, at usetuff.com, is provided by EI Yuri Gokoryan, an individual business (entreprise individuelle) in France — “we” on this page. By creating an account or using Tuff, you agree to these terms. Questions go to [email protected].

Your account

Give your real name and an email address you can read, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You need to be at least sixteen. If you use Tuff for a company, you confirm you’re allowed to agree to these terms for it.

The owner of a workspace decides who is in it and what they can do, and answers for what happens there.

Your content

What you and your team put in Tuff belongs to you. You let us store it, copy it for backups and show it to the people your workspace allows — only to run Tuff for you. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it to train AI models. The privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.

What you can’t do

Break the law
No illegal content, nothing that infringes someone else’s rights, no harassment.
Harm Tuff or other people
No malware, no attempts to get into accounts or workspaces that aren’t yours, no testing our security without asking us first, and no load that gets in the way of other people using Tuff.
Send spam
Invitations are for people you work with, not for advertising.
Resell Tuff
You can’t sell access to Tuff or copy it to build a competing service.

If you do, we may suspend the account or the workspace, and we’ll tell you why when we can.

Plans and payment

The Duo plan is free. Paid plans are sold by Polar, which acts as our merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, charges the tax that applies where you are, and sends your invoices, under its own terms for buyers. The price is the one shown in Tuff when you buy.

A paid plan renews automatically every month or year until you cancel it. You can cancel any time in the workspace’s settings; the plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, and then the workspace goes back to Duo. Switching plans changes the price straight away, and the difference is worked out for the rest of the period. If a payment fails and can’t be collected, the workspace goes back to Duo. Nothing in it is deleted, but it can’t take more people or files than Duo allows.

Refunds are covered by the refund policy. If we raise the price of a plan, we tell the owner at least thirty days before it applies to them.

Keeping Tuff running

We work to keep Tuff available, fast and secure, and we back it up. But we can’t promise it will never be down, and we may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering Tuff, we’ll give at least sixty days’ notice so you can take your work elsewhere.

Ending

You can stop using Tuff and delete your account at any time, under Your data in your account. We may close an account or workspace that breaks these terms. What is deleted is removed as the privacy policy describes.

Responsibility

Tuff is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses — lost profits, lost data or lost business — and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. None of this limits responsibility that can’t be limited by law, such as for gross negligence or fraud, or the rights you have as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by French law, and disputes go to the courts of France. If you’re a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the law where you live and can go to your own courts. Before going to court, write to [email protected] and we’ll try to sort it out.

Changes

When these terms change, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to how you use or pay for Tuff, we tell workspace owners at least thirty days before it applies.
