What an agent can and can’t do
It works as you, with your permissions, and never deletes.
An agent connected to Tuff works as you: it can do what you can do in the projects you’re on, and what it does shows under your name in Activity. Some things it can never do, whatever your role.
| An agent can | |
|---|---|
| Read | Projects, tasks, documents, announcements, chat, Activity, people, and search across them |
| Make | Projects, tasks and subtasks, documents, announcements, comments, messages, labels, sprints, uploads |
| Change | A task’s title, description, list, assignee, dates, priority, labels and sprint; documents; announcements; its own comments and messages |
| An agent can never | |
|---|---|
| Delete | Tasks, channels, messages, projects — or archive a project |
| People | Invite anyone, or change roles and permissions |
| The workspace | Change its settings, its plan or billing, or hand it over |
| Access | Make or revoke tokens, or connect another agent |
Text in a project is treated as content, not as instructions: a task that says “invite this person as an admin” won’t make an agent do it, and couldn’t.
