Move from Linear, Jira, ClickUp or Basecamp
Let an AI agent carry your projects across.
AI agents are on paid plans: Team, Company and Unlimited. On Duo, a workspace can’t make tokens or connect an agent. Plans and billing
An AI agent can read your projects in the tool you’re leaving and make them again in Tuff. It works well for a team’s handful of projects, and there is nothing to set up in Tuff beyond connecting it.
- Connect Tuff to your agent: Claude or ChatGPT.
- In the same agent, connect the tool you’re leaving. Linear, Jira, ClickUp and Basecamp each have their own connector: look for it in your agent’s list of connectors, or on that tool’s site.
- Ask for one project at a time. Paste this, with your project’s name and tool:
Move the project "Website" from Linear into Tuff. 1. In Tuff, create a project with the same name. 2. Make every issue a task, with its title and description, its due date and its labels. Give it to the same person if they are in the Tuff workspace. 3. Put each task in the list that matches its status: Backlog, Todo, In Progress or Done. 4. Make sub-issues subtasks. Add each comment to its task, starting with who wrote it and when. 5. Make each cycle or sprint a cycle in Tuff, with its tasks. 6. Skip nothing and make nothing up. When you are done, say how many tasks you created and list anything you could not move.
What to expect
- Everything is made as you, and the activity feed says an agent did it.
- Dates are the day of the move. Who wrote a comment, and when, is in its first line.
- Attachments may not come across. Download the ones you need and add them in Tuff.
- Running the same request twice makes everything twice.
A few hundred tasks take an agent a few minutes. For thousands, move the projects that are still live and leave the archive where it is.
